Modern Environmental Group, Inc. (MEG) is part of the Modern Corporations, which consist of
various companies providing a full range of environmental and solid waste services to industrial, commercial and residential clients throughout New York State and Canada. Some of our better known companies include Modern Landfill Inc. which owns and operates a fully permitted Part 360 sanitary landfill and Modern Disposal Services, Inc. which provides waste collection and transportation services. The Modern Corporations has been involved in the solid waste industry since 1963, and in that time has gained invaluable experience in the environmental construction and operations field.
MEG provides such services as landfill operation, baseliner construction, landfill closure, site and soil remediation, wetland construction and mitigation, underground storage tank removal, building demolition and industrial site cleanups. Other services Modern can provide include industrial cleaning services, waste tire removal, material recycling, equipment rental and a broad range of transportation services. MEG utilizes staff from other Modern Companies in management and supervisory roles, providing experience and knowledgeable individuals for all our construction projects.
In 1992, MEG was formed to perform environmental related construction services for both
municipal and private clientele. Since that time, Modern has successfully completed several large projects and numerous smaller ones. Working together with other Modern Companies, MEG can provide a total turnkey operation to fulfill your entire project needs.

- In-house survey capabilities with experience in landfill construction site development, drainage and utility installation. Our engineering/survey personnel has recently purchased and are currently using GPS guided equipment for landfill construction at our Model City facility.
